Identify the Number of Assessments You Have Available
The white box at the top of your portal page shows have many tests you currently have available in your account.
How to Change the Email Address Used for Account Login
All emails from Focus Clarifier pertaining to your account, including purchase receipts and test taker result reports, will be sent to the email address that is used to log in to your account.
To change the email address associated with your account, click on the "Settings" button on your portal home page
Enter the new email address and press "Change Account Details".
How to Purchase Assessments
Step 1: Click on the blue "Purchase Assessments" button
Step 2. Choose how many career assessments you want to purchase
On the left side of the checkout page, choose the number of assessments you want to purchase. (NOTE: Assessments have no expiration date.)
Step 3: Enter your purchase information and click the blue Pay button
We use Stripe, an international leader in online payment processing so your payment information is private and secure. You'll receive an email confirming your purchase with your receipt.
Step 4: View the number of assessments now available to you
How Test Takers Get Access to the Test
Test takers must receive a "clickable" link that will give them access to the test. Each time you want to a test taker to receive an access link, you can choose to email the link directly to a test-taker yourself, or you can choose to have Focus Clarifier email the link to a test taker.
How to Email the Test Access Links on Your Own
First, please confirm that the number of Focus Clarifier assessments you have available in your account is equal to or greater than the number of test takers you are uploading now.
If necessary, you can purchase additional assessments on your portal home page.
Once you've confirmed that you have enough accessments available, begin by downloading the Test Taker Info Form
After downloading the form, open it on your computer. Then, go to line 13 and use the dropdown menu to select who will receive the test results report: 1) Only the test taker; 2) Only you; 3) Both the test taker and you.
Test Taker - The results report will be emailed to the Test Taker only. The results report will NOT be emailed to you.
Me: The results report will be emailed to only YOU. The results report will NOT be emailed to the test taker.
Test Taker & Me: The results report will be emailed to YOU and the TEST TAKER.
Notes:
1) Your selection will be used for all test-takers listed in this file.
2) If you opt for your organization to receive the results reports, they will be sent to the email address used for your account login. Here are instructions to change the email address used to login to your account.
Next, on line 17, use the dropdown menu to select who will email the test access links to the test takers.
Note: Other than emailing the results report to a test taker, we will NEVER contact a test taker. We will never promote any service or product to them. And we will never sell or give their name to a 3rd party. Never.
Step 4: Choose who will receive the results report after the assessment is completed

You'll receive a message that the test taker was successfully added, and the test taker's contact information will be added to your page.
How to 'Test' Email Delivery
If you plan to have Focus Clarifier send test access links to test-takers with your organization's email addresses (e.g. [email protected]), we suggest testing email delivery to ensure the emails will be delivered within your organization's email security settings.
To conduct this test, before uploading the Test-Taker file to our system, log in to your Portal Home page on www.FocusClarifier.com . Then, click on the purple 'Test Email Delivery' button located on the right side of the Portal page.
Expect an email from Focus Clarifier in approximately one minute containing a sample results report. The email subject line will be [Focus CLarifier] Successful Email Delivery Test.
Please keep in mind that this email will be sent to the email address you used to log into your account.
If you don't receive the test email, please contact our support team at [email protected] for assistance.
Alternatively, you can opt to have your organization take care of distributing test access links to test-takers, rather than relying on Focus Clarifier.
How to Send a Link to Complete the Assessment to a Test Taker
Step 1: Copy the unique assessment link
Each test taker is assigned a unique assessment link can only be used one time. When the test taker clicks on the link, they will be taken to the assessment webpage.
To obtain the test taker's link, click on the grey box that says "Copy Link".
When you click on the grey box, you see a confirmation the link has been copied.
Step 2: Paste the link into the email that you will send to the test taker.
To paste the link, open the email that you will send to the client, choose where you want to add the link, and then simultaneously press the Ctrl + V keys. You'll immediately see the link in the document. (See sample email below.)
If you 'mess it up' somehow, no worries all. Simply go back to Step 1 to re-copy the link and then paste it again using Step 2.

1. How can I tell if the test taker has completed the assessment?
There are two ways to know.
1). We'll immediately send an email to you informing you

Question 2: How can I change who receives the results report before the assessment is completed?
First, confirm the assessment has not been completed (highlighted in blue). If it hasn't been completed, click on the drop-down box under "Report Recipient" (highlighted in red) and choose who you like to receive the results report. Your options are:
Client - The results report will be emailed to YOU only. The results report will NOT be emailed to you.
Me: The results report will be emailed to only YOU. The results report will NOT be emailed to the test taker.
Client & Me: The results report will be emailed to YOU and the TEST TAKER.
When the test taker completes the assessment, the results will be sent to the recipients you've chosen.
Question 3: How can I change who receives the results report after the assessment is completed?
The first step is the click the drop-down box under "Report Recipient" and choose who you would like to send the report to now: the test taker, you, or both of you.
After you've designated the recipient as above, click on the grey "Generate Report Again" button. Our system will regenerate the report and email it to the recipients you have selected
You'll see this success message when the process is completed. (Please allow approximately 5 minutes for the report to be emailed to the recipients.)
Question 4: Can I see the emails you send to test takers?
If you choose the option for the test taker not to receive the results report from us, we never send any email(s) to the test taker.

Question 5. Do you ever promote, sell, and/or market to test-takers?
Never. Additionally, we will never sell or provide a test-taker's name or contact information to any other party. Also, we will never sell or provide your name or contact information to any other party. Our sole source of income is the sale of career assessments to coaches, therapists, school counselors, etc.
